We rented a van for a day over the holidays and had a very pleasant experience. First, they were incredibly affordable. Much less than other rental agencies and the airport. Very professional, efficient and friendly. They called me the day prior to confirm, which I appreciated. When I arrived right at opening, they had everything ready, only requiring my card and DL. I didn't require insurance, so no paperwork to sign. I was on my way to the car in less than 5 minutes. They walked me out, reviewed the car, asking if I had questions. Car was clean and very new. Return was simple and streamlined. I received my receipt the same day with no surprises. They even called when they found a phone in the back, and again were extremely polite and customer oriented. If you need to rent local or for a day or two, I highly recommend Enterprise Car rental on College.
I had a great experience here. The rental car was decent, but the windows could have been cleaned. Wonderful employees.
First off I can start this by saying that when you are in a car accident and it isn't your fault that you often times feel punished. I 100% was in a no fault accident in August and the situation that played out was horrible. Everyone from Progressive to the person at fault really just made it even worse.
The one thing that was consistently awesome was the crew at Enterprise in Appleton College ave, Appleton Airport, and Oshkosh. The team of individuals working at these locations treated me like I was family. They made sure the price was right, that my car was on point and though I had some issues after 2 months of renting with different vehicles I was never worried about the outcome.
Jake and Alex run a tight ship of well trained people and they are both exceptional human beings. They made sure I was good till I was GOOD. If anyone says anything else other then good things about them or their staff its probably because that person is a clown.
Jake and Alex kept me in a car and moving. I would have drowned under the stress, lack of vehicle, and ability to make money in the past two months. I drove a 2023 Camry, 2023 Mazda, 2023 Countrymen Mini Cooper, and a 2023 Malibu. My Final car was a 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage.
ALL THE CARS were clean, kept nice, and though you can never tell how a previous renter will treat a car you can tell if customer service has your back.

I've had my fair share of good and bad experiences at Enterprise. The staff has always been friendly, but their management could improve on some of their business practices.
My biggest complaints:
1. Vehicles NEVER have a full tank of gas. Other rental companies require this, and it wouldn't cost Enterprise anything to change the policy. It's just inconvenient to have stop to fill up a vehicle I just picked up, and then try to predict when to fill up before I return it so I don't give away a bunch of free gas. I've picked up vehicles with less than 1/4 tank before.
2. You always receive 2 key fobs cable tied together. It feels like I have a full janitor's keyring in my pocket when I'm traveling. I can imagine they'd also charge you for both fobs if you lose them for some reason.
3. Vehicle inventory is getting pretty bad. The last two vehicles I rented had cracked or chipped windshields, I had a bad tail light, and a bad front wheel bearing. Years ago they were all 1-2 years old with 30k or less miles, now they're all well used from what I've received. Last time I rented a mid-sized car and they gave me an extended cab pickup truck so a co-worker had to sit sideways for 16hours...
Something else that would be nice to have would be a 24/7 pickup/drop off option. I always want to leave town before they open so I have to pay for an extra day to let it sit in my driveway overnight, and rush back to get the rental in before they close.
Made a reservation for ONE day. Only wanted a vehicle for a few hours. Was sent the price and when I went to pick up the car, they tried charging an extra $300.00. I gave ALL the information needed BEFORE I went to pick it up and should have been give HONEST information back. It was a wasted trip all the way down college Ave. Money mongers all over the place. DO BETTER.
This is the second time I've rented from this location. The staff has been over the top friendly and accommodating. Their pick up/drop off service from/to your home is such a benefit. Their car selection has been very solid.
Renting a truck while mine is in the shop and requested a different vehicle due to it smelling immensely of smoke and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. Left work early to make it to the appointment we had set the day prior to be told that there were no longer any trucks to swap into as I watched the truck that was being “saved” get taken. Was told they just never had the time to call me and let me know that it would no longer be possible.
